Wolfsburg AG was established as a Public Private Partnership between the city of Wolfsburg and Volkswagen AG. Since 1999, we have put significant effort into providing incentives for the development of key competencies including mobility, leisure and tourism, health management as well as energy and environment.
Our commitment has proven to be successful in enhancing and sustaining the reputation of Wolfsburg as a prime business location further attracting new investment and trade. A host of companies, from start-ups to large global players, have relocated to the Wolfsburg region. This, together with the introduction of a large number of innovative employment schemes, has played a key role in creating jobs and halving unemployment.
